After my x-ray last week it was determined that my cancer was not responding to the latest treatment…a pill called Tarceva. So we are back to a chemo treatment ( Taxotere). This will be the third time I’ve had to take a deep breath in to find strength to renew my resolve to regain my health. I will exercise more, eat better and put more balance into my life.
During my last stretch of chemo I found it helpful to invite friends and family to join me a night or two before the chemo in a sweet treat to smash the cancer. What ever town and state you are in pause and join me in a little fun as I make my way to health. Many believe that eating sugar feeds the cancer cells helping them grow. Whether this is positively true or not, I know it certainly does not hurt me to cut way back on my sugar intake. That is my goal but to add a little balance (and fun!) why not enjoy a sweet treat right before zapping those cancer cells with a heavy chemical. Last round of chemo we enjoyed ice cream, cheese cake, cookies, brownies to name a few. I seem to be in the ice cream mode lately. Maybe it’s the hot weather.
Send me pictures, if you like, of you and yours enjoying a sweet treat together. I will put them up on the site or not….just let me know. We can all smile together…laughter being the best medicine.
Thank you for your love and support!

Sherri, I am trying to get my mother to understand that there are only advantages to adding Dr. Belanger’s treatment to her chemotherapy. Can you tell me if adding the supplements, you/ your doctor’s were able to deduce that they did indeed seem to make the chemotherapy more effective in reaching, attacking and killing cancer cells?
Thank you so much for any feedback you can offer.
Sincerely,

Hello,
I definitely believe I handled the chemo better because of the supplements that Dr. Belanger recommended. I did not feel sick or tired. I held on to most of my hair. I have lots of energy. The Doctors won’t say so but I think they are generally surprised at how well I’m doing. On Dr. Belanger’s website there are many other cancer patients who tell how much he has helped. Best wishes to you and your mom.
